Listing is free, every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and you can pay in person or with Protected Purchase. Here's everything you need to get started.
How to sell
Create an account
Sign up with your email or continue with Google. Add a phone number buyers can actually reach you on. It's free.
Take good photos
Shoot your item in daylight from a few angles, including any wear or defects. Clear photos get far more messages.
Post your listing
Tap Post Item, pick a category, upload your photos, write a clear title and description, and set a fair price. Our team reviews every listing before it goes live.
Reply to buyers
You'll get a notification when your listing is approved and whenever a buyer messages you. Reply quickly, agree the details, and close the deal.

Find what you need
Browse listings or search, then narrow things down by category, city and price.
Message the seller
Ask questions, request more photos and agree a price in Lagos Market chat. Keeping the conversation here gives you a record if anything goes wrong.
Pay the safe way
Meet in a public place, inspect the item and pay only once you're happy. Can't inspect it first? Use Protected Purchase where it's offered: we hold your money until you confirm the item arrived as described.
Leave a review
Rate the seller after your purchase. Honest reviews help other buyers choose who to deal with.
Stay safe
- Never pay in advance, including for delivery, for an item you haven't seen. If you can't inspect it, use Protected Purchase.
- Meet in a busy public place, and bring someone along for high-value items.
- Check and test the item before you hand over any money, and look at the seller's ratings and reviews.
- Spotted a suspicious seller or listing? Report it to our support team using the chat button at the bottom of any page.
